Beef and Cheese Taco Pockets Recipe

This is a great recipe for using leftover taco meat or for enjoying tacos when you don’t have taco shells or tortillas on hand.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bread
  • Shredded Cheese
  • Ground Beef Taco filling
  • Hot Sauce
  • Sour Cream
  • Salsa

Directions

  1. Preheat your sandwich maker
  2. Spoon your taco filling onto two of the slices of bread and spread it out evenly
  3. Add hot sauce if you like it spicy
  4. Top with shredded cheese
  5. Cover with remaining slices of bread
  6. Butter your bread or spray the inside of your sandwich maker with cooking spray
  7. Place it in the sandwich maker and cook until golden. Carefully remove sandwiches and let cool before enjoying
  8. Enjoy your taco pockets with sour cream and salsa for dipping!
